Tinhs room is DONE!

Whew! What a project. All I can say Tinh, is that mommy and daddy worked really hard to try to build you a perfect nursery. We want your new home to be a perfect as it can be, and we hope you like it. One thing I have to tell you though. You know the white part of the walls? Well, even if you decide you hate it when youre older? Sweetie, please dont tell daddy that you hate it and want him to take it down because I think you'll make him cry or something. Just smile, tell him its great, and make a note to yourself that your house wont have that stuff in it, ok? But seriously though, we had fun building a room for our sweet baby, and now we just cant wait to see you in it!

We had a baby shower!

This past thursday night the wonderful and very sweet ladies that I work with threw us a baby shower. I just couldnt believe that everyone was there helping us celebrating Tinhs arrival! Our baby!!!!!!!!! Its like a dream. So long we waited for these moments to come. For a long while there, it seemed like it would never happen, but now here it is.

We're so fortunate to have such good friends and family. Thanks to you all for everything. We couldnt have done this without your love and support.

Tinh is 2 months old today

I took a package to the post office today that is going to the orphanage that Tinh is in. It wasnt much. Just a few bottles of medicine, some coloring books and crayons, and a couple bags of candy for the kids. I did include a camera with Tinhs name on it however, and a note. I dont know if anyone will be able to read English, but I thought it was worth trying to get some picures of Tinhs time in the orphanage for him to have. So fingers crossed first of all that the box actually gets to the orphanage, and second, that the women there will be kind enough to take some pictures, and then save the camera for us.
